Withered fruit of maple tree
The brown withered fruits of Acer platanoides (Norway Maple) a species of maple native to eastern and central Europe and southwest Asia. The fruit is a double samara with two winged seeds. The wings are 3–5 cm long and widely spread. This photo was shot in studio with Nikon D3x, Micro-Nikkor 105mm 2.8G and two SB-900 strobes.
